17\05\2012 A new crossover Opel Mokka may be ordered since 1, June

Opel has announced about start date of accept an order for the newest crossover of brand Mokka model. It will be possible to order the car from the official dealer of the brand since June, 1 of the current year.

The company also published a standard version of the model. The compact crossover will be supplied to Russia with two variants of the engine. The 1, 8- liter engine that develops 140 h.p. will become base, it is combined both with mechanical and automatic gearbox. Besides it will be available 1, 4- liter turbo engine combined with 6-speed mechanical gearbox and all-wheel-drive system.

At the beginning of May the Petersburg plant Nissan produced the 50-thousand Nissan X-Trail of Russian production. The first supplies of this crossover from the plant in Saint Petersburg began in November, 2009. Since that time the second and the third shifts were started, a model range of produced cars extended to three (Nissan Teana, X-Trail and Murano), and annual volume of production grew and reached a point in 43, 2 thousand cars in 2011. Nissan X-Trail occupied more than a half of this quantity.

In 2011 the sales of crossover X-Trail grew by 40% up to 22689 units. Thus at the end of April Russian dealers of Nissan began the sales of updated version of X-Trail. It is the second by popularity model in Russia after Qashqai and occupies more than 16% in brand sales.
