In 2011 the sector of freight transportations showed an obvious positive dynamics. In comparison with 2010 the volume of cargo increased by 9, 6%. The situation in the segment of passenger transportations in whole looked stable. The growth in comparison with 2010 amounted to 0, 3%. ROAD BRANCH
The new stage of development, connected in many respects with the implementation of road funds system, which should start working in full in 2012, begins for the Russian road banch. But not only the establishment of road funds will be able to give the road system a jump-start. The road branch will develop more dynamically in the near future. PREMIUM SEGMENT ANALYSIS
In 2011 the largest share in the registration structure of new premium segment vehicles belonged to Mercedes-Benz – 1.2% from all the registration records of cars. BMW followed Mercedes-Benz according to the number of registration records with 1.1%. The share of Audi amounted to 0.91% from the total amount of registration records. These German vehicles are the leaders of the premium segment market. >>>>>

Analysis of trucks according to the age categories, without taking into consideration the fact of the first or second vehicle registration, enables to reveal the relation between the amount of registration records as regards trucks of different age and their characteristics: fully loaded mass, body type, registration region. >>>>>

At the end of March 2012 the representatives of Russian and world automobile business gathered together at the regular meeting to sum up the results of the last year and share forecasts for the future: from 20 till 22 March of 2012 in Moscow in hotel Renaissance Moscow Monarch Centre Russian Automobile Forum, organized by the Institute of Adam Smith with the assistance of Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIT) of Russia took place.
